TV Shows are full of deep quotes. Shows such as Game of Thrones or House of Cards are a couple popular ones that may show up in your newsfeed but even sitcoms like The Office, Seinfeld, and Friends (yes, even Friends) will hit you with the occasional deep quote. A lot of these quotes get lost as many of the quotes can not be cleanly traced back to an author and are thus not found on any Goodreads list. We’ve aimed to solve that problem and have summoned our master list of quotes from TV Shows, Sitcoms, and Series alike. Enjoy!

Howard: I guess the sad truth is not everyone will accomplish something great. Some of us may just have to find meaning in the little moments that make up life.
-The Big Bang Theory-

April Ludgate: No one knows what they’re doing. Deep down, everyone is just faking it until they figure it out.
-Parks & Recreation-

Jerry Seinfeld: Well, do you feel anything?
George Costanza: Feel? What’s that?
-Seinfeld-

Petyr “Little Finger” Baelish: Everybody dies sooner or later. People die at their dinner tables, die in their beds. They die squatting over their chamberpots. Everybody dies, sooner or later. Don’t worry about your death. Worry about your life. Take charge of your life for as long as it lasts.
-Game Of Thrones-

Andy Bernard: The weird thing is now I’m exactly where I want to be. I’ve got my dream job at Cornell, and I’m still just thinking about my old pals. Only now they’re the ones I made here. I wish there was a way to know you’re in “the good old days”, before you’ve actually left them.
-The Office-

Newman: Tuesday has no feel, Monday has a feel, Friday has a feel. Sunday has a feel.
-The Seinfeld-

Slim Charles: Yeah, now, well, the thing about the old days: they the old days.
-The Wire-

George Costanza: Jerry, just remember, it’s not a lie if you believe it.
-Seinfeld-

-That ’70s Show-

Cynthia: Oh, well, excuse me, Ms. 28-year-old, “I think I can change a tire to prove I’m equal.” True feminism is when a woman knows where she wants to be in the world. Now, if you want to join the Army, and get trench foot, you go for it. But if I want to be in my kitchen, baking cookies for my family, then you can’t say boo to me, because I have burned bigger bras than you will ever wear.
-The Carmichael Show-

Elaine Benes: I had to take a sick day, I’m so sick of people.
-Seinfeld-

The Stranger: But every decision for something is a decision against something else.
-Dark-

Jon Snow: If you only trust the people you grew up with, you won’t make many allies .
-Game Of Thrones-

Lorne Malvo Fargo: Your problem is you spent your whole life thinking there are rules. There aren’t.
-Fargo-

I don’t like my life… so, do something.
-End Of The F*cking World-

Nathan Scott: It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re seventeen and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And that someday is yesterday. And this is your life.
-One Tree Hill-
